The Graham Group – 85 Employees!
In February 2014, Philadelphia Corporate Headshots took on our biggest group photo shoot to date when we shot The Graham Group at their Center City office. The shoot took two half days and required a good bit of organizing beforehand, but in the end the shoot went smoothly and the pictures were fantastic.
Whether we have ten employees to shoot or 85, there are many constant themes that both group sizes have in common. In no particular order they are:
- Pre-shoot logisitics – namely getting the shooting location tested with a quick pre-shoot visit to get a feel for the lighting, the background, and where we can get the equipment set up. We want to be ready to go on the day of the shoot and have all of these factors taken care of.
- Background type – are we shooting in front of a white background or in front of a window or bookshelf? The background is a vital component that needs to be addressed early on because changing it in post-production can often lead to less realistic looking photos.
- Prepared employees – there is nothing in this world that employees want to do less than to interrupt their days and have a professional photo taken. So let’s make this as easy as possible on them. We like to touch base with whoever is handling the organization of the shoot and send along a few tips to get the best out of each employee. This means lay off salt the day before to avoid bloating, use chapstick to avoid dry lips, make sure your hair and makeup are done, and brush your teeth before you get in front of the camera.
- Post-production expectations – before a single photo is taken, we’ll have an agreement about the turnaround time for the photos, how they will be delivered (DVD, Dropbox, etc), and whether certain employees have priority placement in terms of retouching. We will deliver exactly what you are requesting.
So no matter what size your employee group may be, we’re going to figure out a way to disrupt your work day as little as possible and get you the absolute best photos possible. Just call or shoot us an email and we’ll get you a quote that day.
